Bryan and K-9 Skye

I’m Bryan Shicks, and I served in the Army for 23 years with 3 tours in combat. I suffer from PTSD and other physical issues also. My wife and I have 4 dogs, 2 of which are getting older, but we have 1 dog “SKYE” who has the perfect temperament to make a great service/companion/therapy dog. While in service I worked as Military Police, so I had the opportunity to be around other dog handlers,
but was never trained myself. Knowing how to train a dog that would be able to be with me and have my “6” would be very important to me in my daily life.
Having SKYE along would relax and reduce my anxiety allowing me to do things and go places I would otherwise avoid.
I met Ed at a military gathering event and immediately knew this was something needed in my life. My wife and I have talked several times about the need for some kind of training program for SKYE but either the cost was out of our
price range that we could afford or not the training we wanted. Soldier 6 is exactly what we have been looking for.
